JAPOTYLE TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Overview and acceptance
Japotyle operates this online store and website. These Terms of Service apply when you visit japotyle.com, create an account, place an order, or otherwise use our store and related services. By using the store, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the store.

2. Eligibility and account information
You must be legally able to enter into a contract in your place of residence, or use the store with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information for your account and orders. You are responsible for protecting your login details and for activity under your account.

3. Products and availability
Japotyle sells collectible figures and related goods sourced in Japan. Product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, condition notes, and availability are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. Colors and appearance may vary because of lighting, displays, packaging, and manufacturing differences. For pre-owned items, reasonable signs of age, storage, or prior ownership may be present when disclosed in the listing. Stock is limited, and we may correct errors, update information, limit quantities, or discontinue a product at any time.

4. Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted only after payment is authorized and Japotyle sends an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including unavailable stock, pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, payment problems, legal restrictions, or an address we cannot serve. If we cancel after charging you, we will refund the affected amount to the original payment method. Please review your order carefully before submitting it. Cancellation and return requests are handled under our Refund Policy.

5. Prices, taxes, and import charges
Prices are shown in the currency selected for your market. Shipping charges and applicable taxes are displayed at checkout when available. International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country. Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, the customer is responsible for those destination charges. Prices and promotions may change without notice, but a confirmed order will use the price shown in its order confirmation except where correction is required by law.

6. Payment
You agree that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We do not store complete payment card details. Payment processing is also subject to the payment provider's terms and security checks.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Customs processing, carriers, weather, public holidays, and other events outside our reasonable control may cause delays. Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact support@japotyle.com promptly if tracking indicates a problem.

8. Returns, refunds, and cancellations
Returns, refunds, exchanges, damaged-item claims, and cancellation conditions are governed by our Refund Policy: https://japotyle.com/policies/refund-policy

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

9. Intellectual property and third-party brands
The Japotyle name, logo, site design, original text, and other original store materials are owned by Japotyle or used with permission. Anime, manga, game, character, manufacturer, and product names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies the products offered and does not imply that Japotyle owns those rights or is endorsed by the rights holders. You may use the store for personal shopping purposes. You may not copy, scrape, republish, sell, or exploit store content without permission, except as allowed by law.

10. Reviews and submitted content
If you submit a review, comment, image, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful, and does not violate another person's rights. You grant Japotyle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and use that content in connection with operating and promoting the store. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, or unrelated to the store.

11. Prohibited use
You may not use the store to violate law or third-party rights, commit fraud, interfere with security or operation, distribute malware, harvest personal data, send spam, impersonate another person, or attempt unauthorized access. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, Japotyle, Shopify, or others.

12. Third-party services and Shopify
The store is hosted by Shopify. Payments, shipping, analytics, social media, and other features may be provided by third parties. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply when you use those services. Purchases from Japotyle are transactions between you and Japotyle; Shopify is not the seller of Japotyle products.

Information may be processed by Shopify and service providers in countries other than your own as described in that policy.

14. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the store and its content are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Japotyle is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the store or a product, except where liability cannot legally be excluded. These limitations do not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights where applicable.

15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections available in the customer's country of residence. The Yokohama District Court will have jurisdiction over disputes to the extent permitted by applicable law. Before filing a claim, please contact support@japotyle.com so we can try to resolve the issue.

16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when our services, policies, or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will be posted on this page. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date unless law requires otherwise.
